Campag Delta! Id love that bike, but I reckon itll go for a bit. Its an interesting front wheel as well. What is it?

EDIT: Reading the description properly, it's only a frame. $350 is alright, but it wouldve been better if it did come with the brakes and wheels.

This one looked interesting... but I was too late...

Obviously not in showroom condition and fitment, but all indications are to it being rather tasty.

Funnily enough I picked up the bike this morning. I gave the guy a ring on the weekend. It sounded too small and Warwick is a long drive. He told me he was travelling to Brisbane on Tuesday, so I said on the off chance you still have it on Tuesday maybe I could meet you in Brisbane, and left it at that. So I was surprised when I got a text yesterday afternoon. Seemed like most people that were interested were interstate and wanted him to box it. He said he originally was just going to take it to salvos.

Anyway, turns out this guy worked at Hoffy cycles through his teenage years, working and sweeping the shop floor for 12 dollars on a Saturday. He said he was given the bike at the shop by Hendren or Hoffy in early 80's. Sounds like he did some frame building as well, telling me he brazed his first frame there!

The bike was filthy and still had cobwebs and get it home and it seems like the RHS dropout has been repaired, maybe at Hoffy and perhaps why he was given the bike.

I'll have a better inspection later.

Pretty interesting bike. I imagine that Adams aero groupset is pretty rare. It is meant to be quite low end stuff if I'm not mistaken, but wasn't around long, so probably quite collectable. Interesting cable rounting for the the RD

Yea that's a cool one, the brakes in particular. I've only seen one other Premier before, a ladies 3 speed I had a while back. Only seen one pair of those pedals too, on a Bridgestone Picnica folder.

Spotted this on eBay. Just my size, and very tempting for another retro build. I think it belongs to another BNAer too.

So that's what it looked like. I've the same frame and bits of the group set in the shed. From memory the frames were built by one of the better Japanese frame builders and even might have been one of the first aero tubed frames built.

3-4 weeks ago I posted pics of my aero frame gemini with the same frame and groupset and a standish aero frame as well..
Yes the frames are very very nice , not very common, and very underated....Id be all over this if it was closer to home.
When in doubt......mumble.

A bit of a mystery here, put your caps on.
I got a feelin' somethings not right with this Hi Ten looking Apollo - Dia Compe Grand Royal brake levers and that 90s stem would indicate that someone's been messing with it. However, that crappy frame seems to have an Ishiwata 022 sticker - a high end steel found on the Apollo IV, V's and IV's? I think not...Let's do a little digging on the seller.

The seller has another interesting bike for sale - A flat bar converted road bike with mismatched 105 hub and derailleur, and Royal Compe brake calipers that match the brake levers on the lower end Apollo. Uh-huh! A clue! If the brake levers were moved from the white bike to the other, perhaps the Ishiwata 022 sticker was pulled off the white bike as well?

It's obviously a very high quality frame, with a pearlescent cream paint job. Hmm...What late 80s road bikes are made from Ishiwata and came with a pearlescent white paint job...

Why, of course! High end Apollos! It sure is a similar paint job to the one on im_no_pros Apollo IV, different fork crown and a rear fender mount would indicate slightly lower quality, so perhaps a IV?

Thankfully I'm pretty sure the seller is just Dimitri so he can let us know.

Lugnut, Well that blue one is more than likely a 85-86 apollo 2 with a stem and brake upgrade..
That white thingy is a , a , a ...I have no idea
When in doubt......mumble.
