State of Kurnell?

Postby marckietan » Thu Nov 14, 2013 9:21 am

hi,
Am planning a Kurnell ride this Saturday but wasnt sure about the state of the roads? Understand that TBSM and Oatley are not riding the section at the moment as there is a lot of debris from construction and the rain.

Anybody have an up to date view? (I live on the other side of the bridge)

Also appreciate recent events so am wondering whether there is an overreaction at the moment. My thoughts and condolences go out to the family...safe riding everyone.

M

Cronulla tri club go out that way all the time. Maybe ask them what the conditions are like?

I live in Kirrawee and never ride to Kurnell. Always debris as well as sand in the bike lanes/shoulder.

I know it's a bit further but ride to Waterfall instead.

I was commuting daily to Kurnell 2 or 3 months ago. The road TO Kurnell is a bit unsmooth.

But then once at Kurnell and in the National park it appeared to have some very smooth sailing
