BNA Deal-a-Day

Postby AUbicycles » Fri Dec 06, 2013 3:55 pm

Welcome to the BNA Deal a Day.

Forum members would have probably received an email announcing this... and this is what it is about.

I asked advertisers who have supported BNA to create genuine and super deals just for BNA.... real deals. Valid for 1 day each it means that each advertiser has been encouraged to stretch it, and this will be to the benefit of BNA members and visitors.

Deals will be displayed in the forum above (so you can't click below) and each day a new one will appear. The deals will be documented in this thread so you know what has been offered - however you have to get in on the day.

As part of the deal Deon has included Merana A25 Wide wheels ($369... save $50). Not sure if you get an answer in time so I suggest searching the forum for "garda" and seeing if there are other discussions that allow you to compare.

I'm dumb?

What "forum above" ? The "General Australian Cycling Topics ‹ Info / announcements" one? Or some other one that I cannot see?

Fortunately I'm not interested int the offered wheels .. but in case an offer is made I'd like to be able to buy it. So I trust the actual thread has a link or information on how to get the offer.

A banner should be displaying below the dark blue navigation area and about these posts - with a red corner saying BNA Deal-a-day.
For members who are using the old fashioned theme, it may not be displayed however, though there are less than 100 people using that theme.

If you have an ad-blocker on, you may not see it so you will have to turn the add blocker off (the promo's is being 'served' through an ad server).

I won't paste the direct link because when the deals expire each day, the the links will be invalid.

Hope this has helped.

No banner with firefox. Popup blocker turned off .. might be some other setting I'm not getting to.

Works with IE ... so that is the way I'll do it here.

Arrr got it -------------

The A42's are on sale until sold out and there is only about a week, maybe two worth of stock left. They will sell-out at the current price.

I don't think Fulcrum or Mavic have a direct competitor for the Garda DS.

The Garda is a very heavy duty, high milage training wheel.

I just bought 30 tubes! Not all for me, but orders over $100 have free shipping. Hopefully it will get here before Christmas and the kids can give me tubes as presents.

Hopefully they'll screw up my order and send 30 BMCs instead.

Hope you got some anti-puncture tires as well as I am thinking that there may be other problems if you are going through this many tubes. If you do get the bikes, send one my way. 55cm please.

Actually, I've had one flat in the past 18 months - and it was with a puncture resistant tyre! I have had three valve breakages, though, all the same brand of tube (BBB), so my spares have been depleted. I only need a few in the cupboard and the rest will go to the other people who jumped in on my order.

With my luck, any mis-sent bikes will be too small for me. You might get lucky, Christopher.

Yep, every ride with you guys creates a mechanical problem for me. Never happens elsewhere.

Get some tubes, Rheicel. At this price you're crazy if you don't. See if some of the others want in as well, do over $100 and get free postage.

Need to use up all my spare tubes before I can stock up again. Good price though!

Anybody with a stick on mount care to allay my fears about the adhesive? They don't do a case mount for the GS2 :(

They use 3M so should be pretty reliable; I'll probably replace the adhesive on mine with some 3M velcro so I can move the mount from place to place 8)

On a phone, I'd be more concerned about the backplate coming off; especially on an older handset if it's been removed regularly.

My Como's arrived today. Good looking wheelset, well packed and with rim tapes which I wasn't expecting. Just waiting for the 2nd tyre to show up from Wales now. Fun times ahead :)

No banner on Mac OS 10.9 in either Safari or Firefox with blockers off. Dissapointed as I'm interested in today's deal. Can someone one post the direct link please :D

I hope this isn't a day too late for you, Robert.
