"Cycle Facilities Planning
As some of you might know I am the recreational cycling representative on Westcycle - the state coordinating body for cycling in WA.
Westcycle are developing a Strategic Cycling Facilities Plan for WA.
This plan is being developed to guide government (local, state and national) as to the types of facilities needed to meet the current and future needs of the sport of cycling in WA.
Road, track, criterium and BMX facilities are covered under the project.
The study area extends statewide for BMX facilities, while for road, criterium and track cycling facilities, the scope extends to the Perth, Peel and South West regions.
The project incorporates both formal and informal cycling facilities. By informal facilities we mean the 'on-road' network used by cyclists for recreation, training and racing.
A public web page has been developed where you can provide input into the project. The web page includes a survey and allows you to map the routes you use for training and racing.
To access the web link and provide input please click here: https://spatial.globalskm.com/WestCycle/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you could provide input and also promote the web link through your networks it would be greatly appreciated.
Rod Annear."

Done but very disappointed with it. Commuting cyclists were not considered in the survey.
Ps you need flash to get to the survey, so rules out iPad accessing it.

Done, agree with Roland about Commuting.
Mind you, in the selection of which discipline, in the 'other' box, I put Commuting in. As I always race myself, and sometimes other road users.
Cheers

They shouldn't be considered as that is not the focus of the survey. The survey is about recreational cycling not commuting.rolandp wrote:Done but very disappointed with it. Commuting cyclists were not considered in the survey.
