Am-O-Lin

Never used chamois creme before but with a few longer rides and increased frequency I've developed a bit of itching and chafing down there.
I decided to try a bit of this;

Seems ok. I slapped it liberally on the skin a did 225k today with no chafing :)

I also grabbed some Curash baby creme while I was at the chemist and will try it on the next longer ride.

Any other cheap alternatives out there that work?

Bepanthen does the job better than well IME.

Unrefined coconut oil. I suffered from cyclist's crotch rash for many years. The prescription creams never did a thing. After about a month of a pre-ride slather of coconut oil my rash is a thing of the past.

You could try wearing Y fronts under your knicks. Works for me.

Thursday Island brand tea tree oil works really well on tinea. Years of spending a heap on tinea specific products to keep it at bay. Tea tree oil eliminated it quickly :)
