I only cracked just over 8000km this year.

I did have a long stint of training indoors this year during winter. Which would have probably cost me maybe 1000kms. Still short tho.

Secretly I had hoped that I might actually be eligible for entry into this club by the end of the year. Sadly though it looks like it wont happen and by my estimates I am going to fall short by 5-600km

I have 903km remaining to hit 10k km; it's a tough ask but I am keen to have a crack over the break

Mate, take a page out of LDR's book and just do a couple of night rides. You'll make it.

I've still got to squeeze in 75k for my 13500. I think I'll just make it by Christmas day.

A slipping seat post clamp and an allergic reaction to something have set me back a couple of days.

Hi folks - please forgive me for being silent on this thread until just now, but i am compelled to post...i have just rolled home after an awesome mini tour down the the Grand Ridge Road in South Gipplsand (Vic) - logged the k's on the train heading home and to my great delight i had ridden enough distance to complete 10k for 2013.

This distance is a first for me (and perhaps my reason for not posting until now - i wasn't sure that i could make it!)... what a year - riding rain/hail/shine and what and a great way to (almost) finish 2013 immersed in cool temperate rainforest with a few of my great mates!

Bring on '14! Cheers and Merry Xmas!

A lot of my rides like today are slow, they're just as important as the high intensity ones.
Today I just followed a mates wheel then decided to smash it when he tired, so only a short effort.

Absolutely guttered that I will fall short by about 700ks. Have only 3 spare training days left in the year to ride 900ks and I'm sure I'm not going to do 3 300k rides lol. Stink-one.

I should get past 14,000km by year end. Happy with that, although I was looking good for 15,000km at one stage. Oh well, next year's target.

I have only just managed about 10,500km this year, way down from 12,000km last year.

Lots of working from home this year, so less commutes. Also been sick a few times, and with two young kids I have only done a small handful of weekend rides.

Hopefully I get more time in 2014. I am capable of doing a 200km ride without any ill effects the day after, so I was thinking that Audax suits me, since I prefer to ride solo at my own pace.

I cracked 13k this morning, after a fairly decent trek from Moorabbin to Sorrento and return with a few mates - they certainly challenged me! Was a good morning for cycling here.

Finished the 10K this morning...now to keep going to 1: get the Festive 500 and 2: extra k's to cover the stuff done of the wind trainer and 3: I want another 1000k month

So far the weather is playing its part...heat and humidity aside, but better than the wet stuff!
