Here are the local (Beijing) start times for todays ITT (+2 hrs for east coasters).. I might have to knock off an hour early today ;)

Race Distance: 47.3 km ( 1 lap of 23.5 km + 1 lap of 23.8 km )

Think Leipheimer might be the one we've forgotten about. Remember his final TT in last years Tour.

Going out for my own TT now and back in time for the big guns.

Again the weather would be the deciding factor I believe. Cancellara has got to be strong considering his performance in the road race.

I read about Cancellara's formula for dealing with time difference and acclimatising, 1 day for each hr of difference. So by now, most of the other riders would have acclimatised better in comparison to the beijing conditions.

So we can expect closer competition from the regular favorites?

I pick Cancellara.

Cancellara has got to be the man to beat. He was just too strong as shown during the road race. :shock:

A little yeah as it shares a lot of the up from the road race. All the riders away, gosh the big FabSUI looked fantastic as he took off, his body did not move and the bike rocketed away from the start.
