Great little compilation, but I must admit to wondering how much time he spent stopping, setting up the camera in a little vantage spot and then riding past it for ~5-10 seconds footage, stopping again and then walking back and picking up the camera. He might've shaved a good deal of time of his journey otherwise.....

.... but then again I suppose by questioning that I'm missing the point.

Beautifully shot and edited. Having attempted the same myself I can appreciate the effort that went into creating even a short clip such as that one. Video is so much more difficult and time-consuming than stills photography, particularly for solo travellers.

As I run into Chris in Alice Springs and spoken to him about his travel I don't think he is overloaded. He has cycled long distances away from the main routes where supply of food and water is not always readily available.

Amazing footage and he must have spend lots time filming, editing and uploading them.

The journey Chris undertook would be something that the majority of 4WD owners
would not attempt. He was solo unassisted for I'm guessing well over 7000km from the
SE corner of Australia to the NW corner of Australia. The distances out there caused him
to from memory carry around 15 litres of water as the supply is just not there.
I recommend watching the series of videos he made and edited along the way.
It's an incedible journey that he did a great job of sharing as he went.

At least for some of it he was not alone ...

That brought back a few memories.

If you think he looks overloaded you obviously haven't ridden a bicycle with a few weeks between supermarkets.
