How did you find the ride? I am thinking the bike will look good if you can slam the stem. This usually depends on rider but most roiad bike have their handlebars slightly lower than the saddle.
But overall, nice looking build you have there.
If you don't mind, can you tell us how much did you spend on it?
The ride is fantastic! So smooth and nimble vs my previous alloy frame bike. Went over some train tracks at 35km/hr and barely felt them :) Hmm the stem is currently ~2cm below the seat and feels pretty comfortable on the drops which I'm in the majority of the time. Does feel a little high on top though I admit, but manageable. Might adjust it after a few more rides depending. Total cost was ~$1600 sans wheelset.

Well, it's slightly smarter than standing in the 5ft but you're wrong, it's spectacularly stupid.
30 years in the industry with 27 in the safeworking trade and a well honed ability to read roads and signals and the ONLY place I'd do that is in my own yard with full reds, the panel logged off and the door locked when I went outside.
Only the VERY lucky get more than one chance to argue with trains.

Should be posted in the dumb cyclist thread, not something I would be proud of, or posting.

Not exactly. The red signal only means its not clear to proceed past that red signal. It doesn't tell you when the last train passed or if there's a train coming towards you. A train could have passed by or a train is using that section of track up ahead, a train ahead might be accessing a siding or another line, traversing some single track or it could be down to the assigned train path ie activating green when the train passes the signal x amount of distance back.

Photo was taken by a mate for me who had a photography session near the rails and had both supervision/permission by the rail workers at the time. This is out in the rural area's outside Perth.

Just a beginner here, finally with the effort and courage to share. It's usually rocking a rack and bag or panniers. Here's the setup today for my first 150km Image

Rabo, I have no reason to doubt your word so kindly accept my apologies for the pasting I dished out. I have no problem with suitably controlled conditions and had it been mentioned at the time would have kept my big damn trap shut. I spoke up due to fears that others may place themselves or others at risk doing similar without taking appropriate precautions.

I've seen waaaay too many in my time and the counsellors know it. :(

and lastly this custom matte white and carbon build (7.999999999999kg)....

...which then became a full carbon build (7.1kg)

the carbon disc CX is now in the process if getting drop bars fitted, i just need to toss up if i go SRAM S700 hydraulic disc brakes, or get a Hope V-Twin to run the current Hope Stealth Race Evo brakes.

Makes silk look rough  . I love what you did with the brake/shift cables, and, you know, absolutely everything else too.

why thank you

unfortunately the frame was too large for me, so the only logical way to replace it was to go carbon... (the original frame was bought for $100, and supposed to be built from spares in the garage... a whole lot of black CNC'ed parts and carbon later, and i had to buy my now-fiancée a diamond to keep the peace) if i get "sick" of the black look, it will be going matte white again.
