Italian Europa?

Postby bowie » Fri Aug 15, 2008 10:47 am

I've found this strang little Europa thing for sale in my local area. It has the following sticker on the down tube.

Its a 10sp with yet to be identified componts and 27" wheels

Not knowing much about these bikes, but being interested in funny sorts of things, How do these italian frames stack up to the Colombus, Japanese and Reynolds spec'd Europas? I did do a forum search I promise :p

The rear derailleur looks like Ofmega, and the cranks might be as well.

How much is it for sale for? It would be good buying for a couple of hundred I would think.

Its on Ebay (pick up only in Albury, so Bowie's the man). Cranks have "mundial' panto'd into them.

Falck were a reputable steel maker from what I've heard (which is far from comprehensive). Cant say how it compares to other steels.

Europa didn't build crud frames either, so I reckon it'd be a nice buy for <$100-$120.

It looks a bigger bike in photos. Did you sit on or ride it?
