You'll need a cane strapped to the top tube... :D
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

You're lucky to be getting on a bike at all with that wrist!

Where's the fore/aft adjustment? Eccentric BB? 55/11 or do you mean 55/22? Pretty flat round your way?

Nice detailing.

And I'm all for the practicality of the Gates Belt drive.. but as to its supposed provenance as an actual wet weather commuter - I'd be more inclined to believe you if it had mudguards.

Margaret: "I'll give 5/5 for form. David?"
David: "Yes, and I'll give it 2 out of 5 for function."

Really old school 25.4mm handlebar??? Hahaha. Did you start riding bikes in the last 5min?

Doesn't look too bad though.

I have a rear mud guard I use, it's not on it at the moment.

I can't even ride this bike at the moment due to my wrist, just having fun with mods at moment in case I eventually can.

I get the impression someone has been listening to too many sales people.

Also....
One thing I never considered when buying this was re-tensioning the belt drive over time. I’m not at all happy at taking the bike in for a “service” everytime it’s required, so I need to source ‘tensioner’ which thankfully are available on Ebay.
Who told you that? They sound a bit clueless. I think you need to read up on the concept of the Eccentric Bottom Bracket that familyguy has enlightened you too. If it was the same person who told you that the 25.4 bars are so old school, I would suggest that that person is having a lend of you and just drumming up their business at your expense. You might do better to chase 2nd opinions on some things here.
