So I am looking to purchase a fixed gear bike.
I know most forums have a "go to" item that people usually recommend so what $500 - $600 bike does everyone recommend here?
In the states I have found that everyone recommends the Kilo TT so what is its equivalent here in Aus?
I would be happy to build a bike if I can find somewhere that ships parts to Aus for free/decent price.
Thanks in advanced

At that price you'll get a Masi or a Fuji Feather.
Should do you well.

Agree with HLC, Masi looks pretty sweet.
...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

Thanks for the reply's.
I have done some research on the recommendations and feel I might just go with a Cell Blinger.
From what I have read it is pretty hard to beat for the price.

In that case have a really good look at the Reid Harrier as well - I think you get more for many with the Harrier.

I have come across a Masi uno, 2013 model at a lbs for $150 more than the Cell Blinger and only $120 more than the Reid harrier.
Edit: Still might go with the Blinger though. The internet in some ways makes it harder to choose.

Blinger is best bike under $500 by a long way.
