5 of us (think it was 5), we seem to meet up though at 6 at the tway (start of cycleway) and don't go up the ramp at sunnyholt so would of missed anyone that was there.vosadrian wrote:Racing cancelled tonight... Is anyone riding TNFPR these days, or would I be likely to be going solo?

Was a good ride and I didn't rain

you rode alone but was your choice. We could only go as fast as mtbsteve allowed so we cruised along.g-boaf wrote:I'll be down at Prestons and ride the whole way back. Don't make me ride alone.
We had no intention to chase or catch you when you took off

No worries! I was having fun tonight. (except for that damn Quakers Hill climb - I blew up a bit there).leximack wrote:you rode alone but was your choice. I didn't get thrown off - learned how to stop the bike fairly quickly and how to get going. Standing starts are a bit of a nervous thing - but more experience will help.
Next training should be good. Less about how to ride the bike and more about actually going at some proper speed. Can't wait.

Sir Chris Hoy is in Adelaide if you wish to pop over for some advice.g-boaf wrote:uh, I think I might have found another addiction. Track riding is a blast.

I think I need a heck of a lot more leg muscle. It's damn hard to get one of those bikes up and going. Seems like 50% of it is accelerating that thing fast enough and then I'm already working hard to keep up a flying lap. I can see this stuff is going to help build strength, power and also the cardio will get much better.biker jk wrote:Sir Chris Hoy is in Adelaide if you wish to pop over for some advice.g-boaf wrote:uh, I think I might have found another addiction.
