That's a classy frame. So, CroMo tubes? Onto what material in the lugs? Why bonding vs. brazing? :|
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...

Gefsco Fluro Yellow in the GONG
Are you sure that's a real Gefsco?
This is in no way a Gefsco.

Look at the !! BAN ME NOW FOR SWEARING !! work on the fork ends and the flat top on the seat cluster, they are the quickest ways to tell a low end frame.

Powder coat and decals do no the restoration make.

That's a mountainbike. Quite a nice bit of period XT gear but just a but expensive for such an ugly bike

Because not all of us have short shanks Grant :D

Still asking way to much money for an old Apollo - Max $250 IMO.

When I was a kid I learn't to ride through the frame on one of the bikes stacked at the back of my grandads newspaper shop in Newcastle. Reckon I could ride that IV through the frame now :-)

That apollo was advertised a few months ago..its the Canadian equivalent of a high spec Aust IV. Somehow found its way down under.

Shame it's too big, too pricey, and too far away... :(
I don't care if it's a $20 Huffy or a $20k Colnago, as long as you're riding, and you're happy.

I see there are quite a few Ricardos on Gumtree - whats the deal with them, are they decent bikes? I read online that they older ones might be built in south australia, new ones elsewhere, but how could you tell?

I was watching this one;

Peugeot Mixte on eBay

it's an identical match to a mens bike I just bought, but I wasn't expecting it to go quite that high. I doubt the wining bidder was either!
