There is one along the beach line but I think they are a bit expensive.

My coffee taste bud is at the same time a bit overloaded, so anything better than GJ is awesome :D

Does that mean you are joining us Rheicel ?

After the coffee I had on Sunday, anything that doesn't taste like the cooks river smells will be fine.

Roca Cafe on Bestic St is a suggestion, I've never been there but have seen riders there on our return rides. The beach side (above) is very busy, cafes along Bay st are not really big enough to accom' a group plus bikes.
I'm not sure of my work atm so I'll be in as tenative.

I'd love to come along on this if i can. I'm not sure what the criteria is for Retro Rides but was going to come on my 2001 Lemond which although not really retro in age does have a retro geometry and the bit of carbon that makes up the front forks is at least the same colour as the bike so it could be steel like the bike :D

You are welcome Paul. Just be aware that we will try and persuade you of the merits of downtube shifters & high spoke counts :D

Hey Paul! My 'retro ride' is a 2011 carbon fibre trek Madone..... Yep much as the guys have tried to convince me, I've still got it. So a 2001 model is fine :-)

I'm a total imposter I know, but if anyone has a 48cm tt decent retro bike I'll consider it. Got a new job, so I'm allowed n+1 now :-D

I like the LeMonds from that era. And you don't have to feel embarrassed as you might riding a TREK red white n blue US Postal. :P We have rubbery retro rules, anyway. :D
... looks like a hot ride for you guys.
And job congrats in order too, by the sounds, isabella24. 8)
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...

Yeah, I was redundant for one day.... Sigh. And I thought I was going to get a holiday! Thanks Paul (Frailer, not Hergest, two Pauls = confusion!)

Nice cooler weather today for the ride. My bro and I did alright despite not really riding for the past month. Maybe we had even got faster ;)

Bruce's rear wheel took a battering, but it's still holding up. I came out fine, as did the Cadex thankfully.

really slowed down at the end and was close to a complete physical breakdown as I didn't have any food in me, but I made it

I'm getting a collection of these pics.. .... We're gonna have to check the tide charts next time we ride through there....

OR get the council, RMS or whomever....to maintain the canal wall to a decent level so the pathway doesn't flood at every high tide!! :(

Looks like i've been missing out :(

My poor old Paino is getting cobwebs all over it, but unfortunately I have been travelling all over the Country, installing Printing presses. I am driving to Melbourne to install another one on Monday (down there 6 weeks) then I'll polish up the Paino again and come out for a ride :)

Ever considered a ride down South??
