It looks like yours was prepped after my feedback on the bar spacing.

When I have cause to redo my bartape, I will be moving the interruptor brakes closer to the hoods than they currently are, so that I have some room to put a light on.

That said, I'm a fan of the black/green/white of my Cyclo cross 4. :D

Plenty of frame clearance now with the commuting tires on.

I am so behind on updates to this thread... I have been systematically upgrading my 2013 907-E this year. It now has:
- fizik aliante bull saddle (black)
- 6870 11 speed groupset; replaced brifters, front and rear dérailleurs.
- went with the 6870 gs medium cage rear derailleur
- di2 sprint shifters
- dura ace 9000 brakes
- black bar tape
- ultegra compact crank set (used adaptor to fit this to the bottom bracket)
- 11-32 11 speed ultegra cassette (brilliant for climbing)
- fulcrum racing zero alum clinchers with conti gp4000s2 tyres
- stages power meter
- 90mm Fsa slk stem (just to bring the reach back a little for me)

Absolutely loving the setup. The sprint shifters are awesome, and I love having the power data at hand.

Disc brakes on my wish list; but that's going to mean a major upgrade... N+1... :-)
Loving my Merida's and working towards adding a Pinarello to the stable... Go go go...

Another one of those high-vis commuter types. Ultegra equipped flat bar is my weapon of choice - with panniers :D

The good old 2011(?) CX4 - an unpretentious (10kg 105) but fantastic all-round bike for commuting, CX racing and touring. It's been ridden hard and put away wet but still comes up smiling.

On the Stelvio - second highest road pass in Europe (2,758m).

Image

The following day the CX4 (and baggage) worked up the top of the Gavia Pass (2,652m) from the Bormio side;

Image

followed by the next day by a much quicker run without baggage from the Ponte de Legno side for a quick windsurf on Lago Bianco at the top of the pass.

Image

On Mt Ginini in the ACT - the snow that is visible started falling when I was about 50m laterally from the 1762m peak, which made for a very cold ride back down.

Image

And to finish, my wife's CX5 on a tour through Germany. It's been her main daily commute for years.
