Has anyone purchased the bike backpack? $30 seems like good value for me

Picked one up... put it back down pretty fast. Heavy and didn't strike me as a good design (though mostly just the vibe rather than details).

Hey guys

I'm on the hunt for some aldi sunnies. Are there any shops that still stock these?

It seems Wednesday 5 Feb is Aldi's bike special again - at least in NSW

I purchased 5 pair of Aldi sunnies last sale a few months back thinking they were good buy. Unfortunately all the sunnies broke in the same place and each pair only lasted roughly a week. Not sure if got a bad batch but i will not buy them again. The lens were good it was just the frames that broke easy.

Take them back for refund, no problems.

Agree. Had no problem returning a vid camera over a month after purchase (its start up time had blown out to over 8 mins!).

I'm still using the Aldi glasses I bought about 3 months ago. Average a bit over 1.5 hours every 2nd day with 'em. Way better than the $10 jobbies I was going through from the local chemist.

Turtle may have gotten a dodgy lot....or they may just not suit a Turtle's head....or they might be a little rough on them (as I inadvertently was previously). I realised a while back that one of the reasons I was breaking various glasses regularly (when I wasn't dropping them, or sitting on them, or misplacing them) was due to the pressure of my helmet's straps. Since ensuring I have one arm inside the strap on one side and the other outside, all glasses have lasted much longer. Just have to remember to remove them before the helmet.

Speaking of sunnies - https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys ... a-glasses/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Could be a GoPro alternative :idea:

They're a terrible video unit. Avoid. You can get a good 1080p keychain cam (see the camera thread) pretty cheaply and they're not intrusive to stick on anywhere with a little velcro.

Hopefully they'll do clothing in a couple of weeks time. Usually is a couple of weeks behind their sports clothes...

What are you looking for? I've got the blue jersey that I bought last time they were selling them only washed, but never worn. I've bought a whole bunch of other ones, so I never got around to using it. Anyone wanna buy it?

Just a couple more short sleeve jerseys. The Aldi ones are my favourite because of the 2 large pockets rather than 3 small ones. A pack of my home roasted coffee fits perfectly. I'd buy your jersey off you if the postage wasn't prohibitive (and assuming the sizing was correct).

The Aldi may sell BSOs, but they are popular BSOs - I was in there maybe 10 minutes after opening & all of the BSOs were sold.

And if you're caught using a BSO, you'll be called a POBSO - Person On Bicycle Shaped Object :shock:

But your shoes cost more than their bike, so you'll be fine with the Fashion Police, right?

Picked up an indoor trainer - figured it can't really be bad value (AT) $70.
