I looked at the other one in the shop and lifted it just once, after this and the decision was made. The normal Langster seemed so damn heavy in comparison. Get it going tomorrow night and see what she is like. It's gorgeous.

Anyone want to buy a 2012 Trek Madone 4.5 with 3T Integra Ltd stem and Garmin mount? I think it might well be for sale.

given the price difference, you'd hope so!
the normal langster looks eerily identical to my avanti pista, just with a specialized sticker on it hah.

please tuck that wheel up behind the seat post too. ;)

Getting the fit perfect is next. :) After I took the photo, I got it just about right - just a little fine tuning and it should be good to go.

I'll sort the wheel out shortly. :)

Both now that my recumbent legs are coming into play. I am also thinking about adding a fairing which is claimed to add around 10% into headwinds (critical issue for me) and at least 10% with a tailwind. Not so good on cross winds but.

That may be a good thing. I've yet to see a recumbent that isn't to my eyes downright ugly (other than the Easy Racer GRR), which is not really a recumbent anyway.

And for the less enlightened, where exactly is the dividing line? No way the GRR fits into a regaular DF silhouette...
Nice to see Cruzbike have gone past running hacks on existing frame designs and moved into full design, that looks pretty cool.
Anybody with the right stuff want to put the pros and cons of FWD over RWD out there?...

The MBB is twitchy but manageable. I wouldn't commute on it but then again I wouldn't commute on my upright TT bike either. However, I think you'd have to have ridden a deeply reclined bent previously. No way you'd cope with it Otherwise
