I really like his clipless cycling sandals and that's not a bad bike for what he is doing.

Awesome. As I mentioned in another thread I have though about doing a similar cycle/surf tour trip myself. Would be awesome to do it with a few mates.

Here's another article/vid on the same topic of combining a love for waves and bike touring: http://bicycletouringpro.com/blog/eat-s ... cumentary/

I'm already set up for this type of gig...got my bike & BOB Ibex, I also had a specially made stubby board made to fit on the trailer too.

I just have to find the time between studies...around Oz or anywhere doing this would be great!

Wow that looks awesome. How big is it and what does it weigh? And I thought my 5'9" superfish was small..

It's a 5'10" but surfs more like a 6'6" only with the nose cut off...it's an EPS/epoxy board so very light & buoyant too.

I really would like to ride back to Cactus at Pt Sinclair SA some day soon or do the circuit of Tas...

Wow. It looks heaps smaller like a 5'2" in that photo. Must be the paint job. Cycle and surfing tour combined for a few months.. now that would be perfect!

Just wondering if anyone recognises this rack on a BOB Ibex? I'm currently trying to find the manufacturer atm...
