Other than doing plenty of long rides, my big tip would be to get some aerobars, they are worth their weight in gold for long rides.

Normal rules of road racing apply, including the ability to draft
Considerably less enthusiastic now, i'm not really a bunch rider and aerobars are invaluable on long rides for the upper body support. Still at least there's plenty of time for me to get used to the idea.no TT bikes, bars or disc wheels
