Where to buy shorts/tops/gloves etc

Postby Newrider2014 » Mon Feb 10, 2014 11:22 am

Hi there

Wondering if anyone can recommend any. Places to purchase a couple of riding sets..I've had a look on a couple of Internet sites and the prices seem too cheap compared to the local shops... But there is almost a $100 difference.. Do I bite it and spend a couple hundred dollars for them?

Thanks all!

Most of my stuff I bought through Wiggle, as their customer reviews given you a good idea of sizing/quality from previous customers. There are some local on-line places like Cell who are also reliable and have prompt delivery.

Hi Newrider, I must admit I have bought most of my cycle clothing online due to the huge price difference and limited womens range in most of the bike shops in my area. I have purchased clothing through Wiggle, Evans Cycles, Primal Wear and Chain Reaction Cycles. There are also some links on the website 'women who cycle' for womens specific cycling clothes.

I mostly wear cell bibs... Stocked up when they were $15 ea...I use these for rides up to 3 hrs although have used them for a lot longer but now have a set of Assos bibs for long rides.. Also purchased on line from torpedo 7.... shirts are a mixture of cell and wiggle plus shirts from rides.... Ask other stuff comes from various online store... I search buy price but always check the reviews for examples of sizing , suitability and quality..

http://www.teamestrogen.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Have a lot of womens stuff - maybe not necessarily the cheapest but have bought a few things and not had any hassles with exchanging stuff. They also say when the sizes are running large /small.
