So... Can anyone explain why we have to hit the recalculate elevation button... Why can't it just do it as standard!

Not sure, but automatic recalculating would be an awesome option!

If I recalculated elevation on all my rides I could up my goal to 300,000m for the year. :-)

If you get a PR or do way to many kilometres I reckon it should be recognised :)

I really wish some people would f*** right off and stop flagging segments as hazardous. Yes. Climbing a 17% grade is hazardous.
http://app.strava.com/segments/6460106" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or this reasonably flat bit of road.
http://app.strava.com/segments/4002361" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or because we know riding along the road with no side streets and a wide bikelane is dangerous for your health.

Useless !! BAN ME NOW FOR SWEARING !!.

Useless wonderful people.
yeah - there needs to be some weighting to how the flagging people are rated

One reason I won't go premium or spend money with them... it really ruins much of the experience

I agree Luke, flagging those segments is crazy, probably done by someone who got the shites with others taking their KOM.

If there is a segment that you think is hazardous then hide it so it doesn't show up in your stats, easy then you don't have to worry about it.

Anyway, easy enough to re-create the segment yourself.

My Gran Fondo 1 Jersey arrived - it looks reasonable - I guessed right with small size, though I can just as easily wear XS as well. I haven't ordered the Gran Fondo 2 one yet. Not sure if I will.

My current hate is people who go for a "ride" in their car leaving the GPS on. Had several segments on the PSP yesterday that I had a closer look at and all top 4 spots were averaging over 100km/h, the KOM was 126km/h!! This is along the PSP in Leederville (Perth), alongside of which is the freeway :idea: Wondering if an Iphone recorded ride on strava is sufficient for police to charge for speeding (speed limit is 100km/h). Not really a flagger but that was ridiculous so I did flag all four rides.
Generally here in Perth most flagged segments are justified but yes it shirts me when good segments get flagged for one persons anal retentiveness.

I rode a Cat4 climb in Cunnamulla (Western Qld) this morning...although I couldnt tell which way was uphill and which way was downhill as Cunnamulla is as flat as a pancake...going by my Garmin upload the total elevation gain for the complete ride was 6 mtr...looking forward to more hill climbs next visit
