I visited Stu again today. I can't believe how much progress he's made :)

He still has a way to go, though. It's going to be a long road.

Maintain the focus Gretaboy and stick it to the bloke that said you wouldn't walk again.

Latest update and good news... I have moved and am now on the next stage of my journey. I'm now at the rehab centre, looking forward to the hard yards on progressing my recovery.

Due to external trolls outside the BNA forum, I'm reluctant to post specific location details as this thread can be read by anyone. If interested in visiting, just PM for details.

Been away so skipped a pile of pages. Looks like you are doing well Gretaboy, that right knee looked to have a bit more movement but still looks stiff. Good luck with the recovery, we're thinking of you and hope to see a video of you on a bike when you can manage it. Must be a huge effort to recover, you are an inspiration :D

Onya big Stu ! Amazing progress in such a short time; largely through your own grit and determination... We've been with you through the various csc links, but this seems to be where you spend your time so I've passed it on to the local gang. Just great to see the vid of your jig :D All the best from all of us GB. (Ian W)

Found out today that there are some recumbent trikes here at the rehab unit, am pushing hard to get access to them so I can get out on the little track they have here. Saw another patient doing laps this morning and I was jealous.

even asked about bringing my last road bike here with a stationary trainer to practice and got told they already have a stationary trainer....things are looking up, might be on a bike sooner than I thought

Dropped in to see that gretaboy has settled into his new digs, seems that they might even give him a night out for good behaviour, although after all that time locked up, maybe its a night out for misbehaviour

Fabulous to see his new party trick, look ma no crutches. More progress with his hand, so the hard work with the OT is showing some benefit even if the reward is more hard work.

If you have a few minutes to drop in, I am sure grtetaboy would enjoy your company. PM him or me for clues as to the super secret location

Oh dear...I'm assuming the beard has already started growing and the sandals are on order? ;)

Haha...no fear of the beard happening. I would b kicked out to the doghouse permanently if I had anything close to resembling a beard.

I see the recumbent as another way to strengthen my right leg....to get moving by pedal would b so good
