Joining a ride

Postby baarg » Sun Aug 24, 2008 6:10 pm

Hi there - I'm new to this forum and kinda new to Brisbane. I would like join a group to cycle occasionally. At the moment I am commuting to work (round trip 52km) on an average speed of about 25.5km roughly, depending on the day! I obviously would like to improve that and joining a ride/club seems a good way of doing this.
I live in Calamvale Brisbane and I noticed (by looking into websites) that there's not much happening around this area, but quite a bit in inner/northside Brisbane. If you have any info I would really appreciate it. :D

Thanks in advanced.
Andrea

I just went but could not find any info. I think I'm going to have to go to the city just to ride with a bunch as there's nothing around Calamvale.

Thanks anyway!

Don't forget the Brisbane Bike Touring Association if you're interested in longer rides: http://www.bbta.org :)
