It does look to be in good nick. I would say its a 58cm c-t seat tube though.frailer5 wrote:... indeed. About a 56? Looks in very good shape. And away from salt air, if that's where it's been.rangersac wrote: Need to inspect the top tube and forks but this Ricardo could be decent

Looks nice but is definitely overproiced by $1000. Their dreaming if they think it's a 57 cm c-c seat tube. Based on the 27" wheels and the long steerer tube I reckon its more like a 24" seat tube c-t.rangersac wrote: A lovely but rather optimistically priced Claud Butler

Yea but portacatena. I'm not saying it makes it worth that much, but there's certainly not many of them round.rangersac wrote:Most expensive Raleigh in Australia?

+1 on both counts. As a CB enthusiast I would probably go a little more than $200 but not much. I ride 22.5" by preference so that is at least a 23.5" frame (60cm). Very late 80's too I would say.singlespeedscott wrote:Looks nice but is definitely overpriced by $1000. Their dreaming if they think it's a 57 cm c-c seat tube. There is a good chance the frame is cracked anyway. Looks like they had fixed the seatpost issue, but the headtube is the same old poor design & prone to cracking from the top & bottom & past the weld on either side.bychosis wrote:Spotted a bike on gumtree yesterday, like this one. Contemplated buying it, but could find any details online and the ad only said orange road bike, no size or anything. At $120 was probably a fair price. No detail, no idea of size, difficult to arrange pickup meant I held off.
Flippers at work: http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/cameron- ... 1041238016" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; now it's $325 24hrs later.

That article is posted in the ebay ad.
You reckon if Jack said it was then that's that?
(I don't know anything of Jack Walsh besides what the seller sprouts)

Yep. Easily fixable, but definitely not at that price. It's gaspipe, after all...rangersac wrote:Surely bent seat stays?

Yes, it (the Kuwahara) has potential I think (but as you say it's hard to tell from the one pic), and the Apollo MTB looks OK as well.bychosis wrote:seven bikes at $120ea including junk! two step throughs, and... One kuwahara roadie, got no idea what it is from one off side pic though.

Surely someone will jump on the BIN before it goes anywhere. I'm having a hard time finding anything with forged dropouts and in good nick for under 250 as of late. Perhaps it's the good weather.koen wrote:yeah I am watching that but I don't think I'll go up with it much.Imwit wrote:good looking Apollo 4 in brissy
