Hello everybody
I am currently working in a project of making a fuel efficient car for Shell eco marathon, i will use a Michellen tyre with dimension of 45/75 R 16. I need to know what is the rim size i should look for and where to find it on the web?
Tire specification can be viewed here : http://www.semasiaeshop.com/download/mi ... _75R16.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
i hope you will be able to help me
Many thanks

Sounds like a motorbike wheel/tyre thing, not a bicycle.

Looking at the spec sheet, the important dimension to note is "D", the Bead Seat Diameter - at 405.6mm, this rates it very closely to the standard "20-inch" BMX rim BSD of 406mm. However the required rim section is some 30-34mm between the beads, and very few bike rims are going to be that wide, although there should be something around. The big problem I can see is finding something with a "hookless" bead profile - the vast majority of bike rims (excluding tubulars of course) are the hooked variety.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
