Munga has sorted this - thanks - however I'd suggest anyone incapable of managing a three column table probably shouldn't be allowed to use a computer any longer ;)

the only hurdle is your privacy. obviously you will need to use your real name. you can choose to use the same avatar as your bna avatar, or not. your choice if you want to join. maybe sign off with your username till we get used to the idea.

still getting this off the ground, but the search function works well (as well as its going to - it all depends on how you list your stuff)
we have wtt, wtb, and wts, as well as general discussion, all searchable.

i've been listing a few things, teddancin has been listing a few things. dan and quang also.

Waz, in that case won't it be a lot easier to pick up a $3 28-6 to 31.8 shim from the LBS?

Shim? A, no.

Thank you, thank you: I'm here all week. Try the carbonara, and don't forget to tip your waitress....

I have a 58cm sq Centurion Prestige frame for trade. I was fortunate enough to get this frame from beside a guys shed for next to nothing. I have 'dated' the frame to May/June '89 from here and was surprised at how high it sat in the pecking order of Centurion frames with the Tange Prestige tubing.
So what would I like, a frame of similar quality at 54/55cm sq c2c. I have been told that finding a frame in this size with Prestige tubing will be like collecting rocking horse poo. So what about 653/753reynolds or Columbus SL/SLX?

English Headset

Postby commando » Sat Mar 29, 2014 3:00 pm

I posted in the BNA Wanted forum but remembered this old thread and thought it might get views from my target audience a little easier.

I'm looking for an old English headset to fit my Healing, I've missed 2 on ebay recently so am hoping somebody out there has got something for me. I'm gathering parts but can't put it together without this key piece!

Let me know if you've got anything.

Thanks

Time to dig up an old thread :D

I'm looking for an Italian threaded BB for a build that I've nearly got all the parts for. I've got an English threaded Nuovo Record to trade (I think - its out in the shed and I'm knackered and heading to bed, but it's got the spirals). Happy to send take some pics of mine if anyone has anything.

Also looking for a completely knackered SR seatpost. Seat tube size doesn't matter, as its the bracket i'm after.

My BB is similar to this pic.

Thanks for looking all.

Utedeej, what style of seat post? The higher end SR Royal style or the cheaper clunker version one?

Tinker I have a shoe box full of headsets but I doubt anything is older than the early 70's. Are you looking for something like a Cinelli or Magistroni (expensive and rare) or just something in chrome?

Cheers
Chris

Sorry guys, I mean a Super Record seat post

I have the post with the flutes (series 2?), but am looking for a top clamp setup.

The first one or the second? If it's the first one I used an old SR/Sugino clamp to fix my C-Record post and I might be able to help out there. If it's the second one.... we're in trouble.
