first thing i did was ditch the 3T ski bends and got some nice Gamma extensions from TriRig, loving them so much more.

Need to get back into a roadie though soonish, something 90's oldschool, don't need anything fancy. hopefully will get on something soon.
The geometry on these TT bikes, just does my head in. I like the colour combo though. 8)

Nice. Why did you go the plastic mud guards? I use them myself but I will be buying alloy shortly. The water dribbling off the underside mounted stays from my P45's onto my shoes and shins drives me nuts.

Were you on the M7 today? I saw a bike like that go past. I was at the end of a 100km ride so ummm yeah, that's why you went past... (wouldn't have mattered if it was 10km into it I know, but my excuse sounds better)

I know the model. The problem with the SKS guards is that the stays loop under the guards. This allows water that is channeling down the inside to dribble out onto the stays and then get blown onto your feet and drive train which sort of defeats the purpose of mud guards.

A properly designed guard has stays loop on the out side thus ensuring every drop goes down onto the road where it belongs.

The worn out, crashed on Shimano 105's that made me decide on getting on getting a new groupset in the first place? They are in the spare/to build bike bin. In other news the 6870 gear that I installed today is going along very nicely :P

Concorde Prelude Size 58 frame and fork
Cinelli stem
Cinelli Campione Del Mondo bars
Campagnolo C-Record headset
Campagnolo 10 speed groupset
Nitto S65 seatpost
Arundel stainless cages
Arundel Gekko bar taped
Campagnolo silver 8/9/10 speed hubs laced to Mavic Open Pro rims with Competition spokes (32 hole, 3 cross)

Ben Wallis up here in QLD repainted the top tube to compliment the rest of the paint and painstakingly touched up the many small chips and scratches.
The top tube had previously been rattle canned black by a previous owner for some reason.

Latest addition to my file of troop. Not the prettiest but certainly different. Double butted Ti ride like a steel imo.

Wrong Rheicel, that is very pretty. I must have missed the build thread... :?

Thanks Shaun. Didn't had chance to have a build thread, as this build came in pretty quick. :D

Why not paint match titanium, and paint the fork. The closest stock colour I can think of is Tamiya Champagne Gold, which is slightly more gold than titanium colour. Unless you're going with the gun metal grey?

If I had the money for custom titanium, I would make a lo-pro funny bike.

Nice! I like it. Interesting place for a rear light too. Are the rear brakes behind the crank?

Any reason why you didn't put the battery under the water bottle or under the BB?

I am glad you like it. Rear brake is under the chainstay, to keep the seat stay and top tube neat. Battery is mounted behind the seat post to show that I have Di2 :) Oh, and the rear light is just temporary, I'll have one just above the Di2 battery.
QuangVuong wrote:Why not paint match titanium, and paint the fork.
Thanks QV but I reckon that is not required in this case. Don't want to ruin the 3T fork for the sake of colour matching. If I had to colour match this, I will use a Ti fork.
