Mad Ride

Can anybody recommend whether the Mad Ride in early April is a good day out? I'm looking for a new 100km+ target ride and somebody I know suggested this.

I'm biased because I'll be one of the volunteers on the day, DJ, but 100km climbing Mt Macedon's got to be a nice change to the usual Beach Road to Franga and back.

I did it last year. It was well run, friendly and fun. Learnt not to stuff myself at lunch when it's followed by a climb

also a volunteer, but i think most people will enjoy the day,it had a really good atmosphere last year

MAD ride is great. Have done it for years. Mostly the mtb ride, but in the last few years the road ride. Roads are challenging & empty. Vollies & atmosphere is wonderful.

Hopefully weather next Sunday is like today.

Looks like it will be 20° and partly cloudy ... great riding weather.
