Sometimes it's a relief when they're the wrong size. Would have been agonising to get sis to pick it up.
Well, no, it's not a pushbike, otherwise I'd be pushing it...

Some interesting bits and pieces. I wonder how much it would cost to repair the Perkins or if he'd split. Aero C Record seat post

Crazy clearances on this Rod Martin track frame. But only if it were cheaper, like a third of the asking price. Looks to be set up as a fixie, but nothing too drastic done to the frame. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/annandal ... 1043011893" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Shogun Samuri
Can't see this staying low
Dunno much about Repco MTBs. Parts on this one are decent enough though.

Maybe it is just my eyes, but the front tyre looks too big - 25 or 28mm perhaps. Clearance would look at lot better with a 19 or 22 mm tyre

Horrible!

Looks like someone built it from a parts bin while drunk.

Incomplete, and WAY over-priced.

$200.00 tops, and that's being generous.
I don't care if it's a $20 Huffy or a $20k Colnago, as long as you're riding, and you're happy.

Yes, I was thinking it has 25 or 28mm tyres. A ~20mm one would be perfect.

Rod Martin is a frame builder up in Gosford, and I'd pay at most $400 for it.

Probably wanting a bit too much on this Guerciotti.

A Bianchi MTB (think it was posted earlier).

If it really was a Guerciotti I would think it was very reasonably priced. But most Guerciottis of this era have pantos on the seat stays and on the crown of the fork. I can't see any . Also the tubing , being Oria is a low end tube set. Cheers

Nice CX number for the vertically challenged.
Apollo's seem to be in vogue at the moment. Is this really a III? Didn't think the III came in a Tange 900 frame. A bit suss that there's no pics of the full bike either. This one is slightly more realistic. This clearly isn't!
If I were selling this Pinny I think I'd put the drops back on for a more pleasing appearance.
A very nice Centurion although a fair bit of coin.

Not that nice for the price - missing hoods on the brake levers, rusty brake cmponents, scratched RD, mismatched rims if I'm not mistaken, no pedals (although the frame looks in good nic).

Definitely not worth what they're asking, but you don't see many 80s frames around now that are in as good a condition as that one appears to be.

So that poses a question. How much more is a frame or bike in excellent condition worth versus the same frame or bike in average condition? I'm thinking about 50% more. Or is it another case of letting the market decide?

And interesting that there seems to be a little biz going there, in Sydney, doing retro refurbs/onsell. Must be a perceived gap in the market. may have a look at their FB page out of interest.

That Elswick is very pretty despite, or perhaps because of, it's unorthodox colour combination. Love the colour coded 'guards and cable outers. Sheldon owned a couple of Elswicks
