Well I was going well (a little too well) until just recently, when I had a slow flat and found a sharp piece of stone had found its way through the tyre and into the tube. The second was 2/3 of a small rusty washer. Neither appeared to trouble the tyre much. Just went right through, no lumps, bumps or deforms - just lucky I guess. Then there was the pinch. I hit a tree limb - took me out somersault and all - not flat, I was amazed, rode it for another week, but it kept losing a little air. I can't find it. I'll just have to toss that tube. I'd super inflate it to press the issue but I'd fear for all the other patches. I don't mind. That one has been positively heroic. When they gotta go they gotta go.

That's two for me. I can't count the pinch as a puncture exactly

+1 Reason unknown

Previous total 0 so 0 + 1 = 1

That's about 7 less than last year

+1 from Monday. MTB. No more info needed :P Once my supply of tubes has run out it might be time for tubeless considering I'm spending more time on the mtb these days.

+1 for me (that's 2 now).

Workmate looked on incredulously as I patched the tube rather than replace it. Might be time for new tyres soon.

+1 A slow leak in the front only 3k from home. At 2k I stopped and pumped it up, but it only lasted 500mtrs. I was so close I rode home on the flat and fixed it at home.

That makes 2 for year

Have had a good week the other day....I work FIFO and got to my work home and found the front tyre flat...pumped it up and the leak was at the base of the tube where the valve is...put the spare in and that blew as I was pumping it up...Have had this happen a few times now so think I might have purchased a bad batch of tubes.
The following week I was in Brisbane so commuted and got a puncture near home...couldnt find the culprit but the tyre went flat after a accident prone intersection. The worse part was the gas failed so had no way to pump the tube up...lucky the wife was up the road.
That puts me at 6 now...enough for the year I think...now carry 2 gas canisters and have a pump in the lap top bag for commutes and a new batch of tubes

Blew a tube the other weekend. GP4000S delaminated hence the tube being deflated.

Total now stands at 5.

First one for the year, in the pouring rain. A staple through the tyre. (GP4000S)

First ever puncture on my Gatorskins this morning. I pulled a big glass shard out of the front tire on Wednesday and I think the remnants of it created a slow puncture this morning. I started to flat just around the corner from work so I decided to walk in and will fix it at lunchtime.

So that's #4 for me.
Two punctures on my bike plus an old faulty tube.
One puncture on my son's bike

+1 Rear went on the way to the gym, still managed to get there on time

That's 3 for the year, an unusually low number for me

Damn another flat today. My almost 4000km old Maxxis Crossmark was slowly going down at the end of my 132km ride.

It's completely flat now. Time to fit new tyres

2 for the year now. In less than a week....

First puncture in almost 12 months for me today. Wet road, popping back home at lunch time to pick up my new lights that arrived mid-morning. About half way there, the rear started to go down rapidly. I got caught without any repair kit, but thankfully my better half picked me up. Strike 1 for GP4000s - they've only done 500-600km.

I lost a GP4000S - it went down slowly about 3/4 through a ride. Noticed it going down when I went across a bump (unexpected noise) and the back of the bike was a bit loose through a corner. I pumped it up again and got home. But it was totally flat and pumping it up again met with a rush of air and persistent hiss.

I did get a good distance out of that tyre, but glass finished it. Put a new one on and a new tube.

Front on the fixie, I was only 1k from home so I rode it home. Decided to replace the tyre (pro3race -> pro3race) to give me a nice shiny one for the remainder of winter. The pro4endurance on the back is looking pretty good, not much in the way of cuts.

I put a new pre-luved tube in, patched the old one and will leave it with some air in it for 24 hours to confirm all is good before folding it up for a spare
