I've just been blessed with long limbs and good flexibility! It will get set up for track tomorrow as i'm going to run this at RAW now that I have some new track wheels! I;ll save the Bridgestone for summer series where it is more casual/less competitive!

Took it to track last night with my new wheels actually. Many smiles were had!familyguy wrote:Not hatin' your styleeee. That with drops is going to be epic!

Nope. I do have a matching Planet X time-trial fork which is drilled, but apart from setting it up to cut the steerer, i never used it.Mulger bill wrote:Those last two make me smile!

Anyway, i bought some track wheels, so this is now set up for RAW, probably belongs in the track phot thread, but whatever.

I need to put a half link in to shorten it a touch because if I pull a full link out, i can't get my street wheels with 18t rear on!foo on patrol wrote:Drop a link out of the chain HLC to tighten that up a bit and Bobs ya uncle.

Alternatively, i'm most likely just going to get a bigger chainring, and 49/14 is just slightly too short on the track.

No its a different one foo. The pair from you are going on the retro TT bike. This one was given to me by a guy on another forum - for free! The aluminium is coming away from the carbon at the point where the rim joins ..its okay if I don't put too much pressure in the tyre.foo on patrol wrote:I reconise the rear wheel DD.

Kitted out as general purpose town / shopping / commute bike, soon to hopefully add light touring to its CV with a 180klm run down the coast coming up.
Mostly function winning out over form, with some very inelegant solutions to a host of practical requirements (mostly sourced in the plumbing section of Bunnings... tape, clamps, strap iron and bolts)

I am pretty sure it is a McCaig frame. Do you still have this frame?
If so, please contact me on brentqbc@gmail.com

This was originally my road bike, built to my specs in the early 90s by Wayne Kotzur.
Paul Hillbrick converted the rear dropouts for me and Cheeky Transport in Newtown, NSW built the rest of the bike up.
