Primal have some good deals on at the moment in their closeouts. Shipping is very fast and their gear is good quality. Fit wise they are a standard UK/US fit rather than a smaller European type.

In the UK theyve done what appears to be a semi-decent range of bike gear too: http://road.cc/content/news/117615-aldi ... cketgilets" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Ross wrote:Aldi have a snow gear sale coming up from 17th May. Few hundred bucks, maybe more if you get slugged a brokerage fee. I usually allow 20% for customs.jasonc wrote:plus how much for duty and gsT?
If anyone is interested - see if you can order the groupset components separately (and do two sub-$1000 orders) and work out if the total is less than the shipping + duty/gst.
I ordered my DA mech groupset in two orders from Merlin, if I bought a 'full DA' groupset it would have cost about $100 more than if I bought it as a package ($1600 from memory)... but I ended up customising it with an Ultegra cassette so it was actually cheaper than the DA mech groupset package cost. And no customs duties as the orders were $700-800 each and sent to different addresses - one to my wife to play things safe. Ended up being sub-$1500 landed.
