Or is it a re-spray? Otherwise, why is it missing the down tube and top tube transfers?Kermit TF wrote:

Make sure he has a decent lock and knows how to use it!frailer5 wrote:Son's just moved to London, so am on the lookout for him for something to get around on. Might as well be something classy. It's true decent non-iconic (ie Hetchins etc) retro bikes are generally cheaper in the UK. There are a LOT more of them (also remember the prices are in Pounds not dollars )
Cheers

I am still laughing at the "sponsored links" on that item - apparently what you need to accessorise that bike is some grease & 3 G-strings - hope those aren't "personalised" linksfrailer5 wrote:Son's just moved to London, so am on the lookout for him for something to get around on. Yep, I get the Pounds thing. And good advice on the lock. Because it's so decentralised there, the market must be limited if you're in a Midlands town, say. Probably cost the same again to BritRail to pick it up.
And didn't even notice the sponsored links. Something wrong there. Actually, the pervasiveness of Big Bro reaches a tail-eating stupidity. The Athena Campy gets somehow linked to the Athena Super scant knickers for 'sponsoring' purposes. Say wha...?!

Then sell it for $1050! http://www.ebay.com/itm/141212423023" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Pista version was at USD$9995 but auction pulled: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111303590529" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
All shamelessly stolen from fyxo: http://fyxo.co/dispatches/diy-cinelli-laser/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Have you tried the LFGSS forum classifieds? Lots of really interesting stuff thrown up there, and usually not too pricey either.frailer5 wrote:Son's just moved to London, so am on the lookout for him for something to get around on.
