A 60-year-old cyclist was involved in what appeared to be a hit and run outside the Esplanade train station this morning.
It seems the cyclist did not require hospitalisation and the driver returned after initially driving away. Scant details in the West Australian.

The West article says they didn't require hospitalisation. Is this a typo or do you have further info?Aushiker wrote:It seems the cyclist did require hospitalisation
A rider in my group lost a light on William St just past this intersection on Saturday and I had a couple of close passes when I stopped to pick it up even though both the light and myself were closer to the curb than my riding line had been. Some drivers seem to get extra impatient when around roadworks.
