Advise on China Bike Tour

Hi all

I am planning a bike trip for myself and my father for next year (month suggestion pls) and was wondering if anyone had done any tours over there and can advise?
I cycle a fair bit and the old man did Foster Ironman twice although a few years ago now. So we are looking for decent intensity, but not back breaking.

There are heaps of websites, but looking for a recommendation pls.
