You are a machine :)
I did it! 9 km in 1 hour 30 mins. I rode in this morning and my legs felt good. :D

6km/h. good walking pace

I'll put in my nomination for tomorrow. I have a daddy daughter day because of school holidays.

Mate in my books that counts as an Honourable reason - time with family is always important to me. May not always be as enjoyable as riding but is important.

To me LOVE requires TIME & ATTENTION. (Now all we have to do is educate that this can be done on a bike)

I had multiple mechanical failures 20km into my commute; dealing with them at the time would have made me unacceptably late so I headed for the train.

After my ride home on Monday night, I got hit with a sore throat. Woke up Tuesday with a full blown cold :-(

No riding since, I feel miserable :-(

Six degrees at 3.25pm, it was too cold (again) to go for some laps of the lake at lunch time. I'll go tomorrow instead...

Taking the wonderful Mrs Westab to the Lion King in the city so no ride home tonight for her birthday.
My parents will be looking after the three rug rats - should be a great night.

Commuting to work Garmin was registering 1.7C ,fogged in .Extra wet rain drops getting in the ones that bounce and fall sideways. Derailleur snaps off . Start over .
Walked back to go.

Today is the first day I've not spat up green phlegm since the 13th - damn asthmatics and their propensity for chest infections after a night up late on the sauce and SFA sleep i.e. rundown.

Looking forward to getting on the bike for a commute tomorrow.

Tuesday night MTB group ride. Over the bars at about 40kph on a downhill fire trail. Result: One destroyed helmet and jersey, but thankfully just a fair bit of skin loss and bruising and most importantly the bike appears to have survived unscathed. Did the commute fine on Wednesday but both yesterday and today woke up feeling like I'd been beaten by eight dwarves wielding thick broom handles.

I thought about it, but given I managed the commute the day after, they pulled out on the next two I figured it fit the excuses bracket pretty well!

Clown-shoes junk at work is scrambling my sleep pattern. Yes, that's me drooling against the train window. Sorry.

Opportunity to cycle school bus this morning. Denied due to said school kids wanting to walk. No riding, but I suspect they'll be opting for pedals next time!

I bailed on Tuesday and Thursday because the headwinds would have sent me backwards at a greater rate than I could have pedalled forwards. Went for a short walk at lunchtime and genuinely had difficulty walking forwards at one point!

But I did get in 50km from Licola almost all the way to Cowwarr (hubby arrived in car to pick me up with a promise of coffee - how could I say no) - took serious concentration to stay safe with the wind blown debris all over the roads.
