Damn...why did I look at that. $80 just seems too cheap for a pretty red Fisher. But I'm not bidding a cent more!!ldrcycles wrote: Basic Gary Fisher.

Okay...so I bought it and thought it would make a nice town bike with light carbon forks I have already but now that seems a waste. It is reeally heavy. bare frame 3kg.koen wrote: Damn...why did I look at that. $80 just seems too cheap for a pretty red Fisher. But I'm not bidding a cent more!!
When I first looked at it I momentarily was hopeful as it has a sticker "Designed USA Gary Fisher Product Team Aluminium" but its actually unmarked steel. Has had some older parts of a deore group on it which I fixed up well. The front mech was a hack job though using an unsual top pull conversion that didn't really work.
With a new seatpost and cleaned up parts painted with that anodised looking paint. Waiting on a few other bits to finish it.

I'm just looking through the bay again this morning, the only old MTB of note is this Giant Iguana. Nothing fancy but damn that's a lot of rake.
