How to spot supercoach

1: thick accent
2: bit touchie feely, particularly on the backside
3: Says things like, "pedal pedal" and "faster faster"
4: advises that your seat is too high or too low
5: advises that your pedalling style is not good
5: if your riding side by side with a buddy he will force his way inbetween you

basically get away as fast as you can, take nearest exit, do a uturn, fake a mechanical, pretend to answer your phone
He's a real douchebag

LOL - or you'll get the arm around the shoulder as our poor mate did one night (don't think you were there). He was between super coach and fence on left at 35km/h and not happy at all. And my frantic getaway didn't work. Just when I thought I could slow down and get my breath back - doh!

It's a bit if a shock when he just breezes through into the group you are riding with.

You'll have a group of four in 2+2 formation and if there is even the smallest gap in the group, he will take that gap.

Give him credit though, he isn't slow.

I got somewhat lost in SOP - ended up looping around there multiple times before finally making my way out again and getting down to Prestons by about 3:00pm. From there went up to Elizabeth Drive and then home. 135.9km done.

Looked at my phone and noticed that tomorrow I'm supposed to be doing 100rpm intervals.  That's going to be a tough ask.

Can't remember - it's been a while since the last time I encountered him. The accent is Eastern European if I remember right. I think he did a lot of his riding in the Eastern Bloc countries back in the day.

If you are out there at 6pm tonight - I'll be there around Sunnyholt Road entrance. I'll be somewhat grandma speed compared to the others. My interval efforts yesterday have left me with tired legs.

Sorry guys - I got stuck on Sunnyholt Road, was running late by 10min. You were that huge group down at the bubblers right? I was cursing myself for that. Next time I will not use Sunnyholt Road. Slow slow slow....

Looks like I picked the right night to be running late, I'd have been spat out the back very quickly. I've got legs half filled with concrete from yesterday.

It was fantastic weather tonight - not cold at all. :D
