WHAATTT?! Damn missed that one...ldrcycles wrote:How not to sell a nice bike. A big (63cm) Klein Quantum Race with 105 and Ultegra bits that was listed as "Bike" finished this morning. Listed at $120 with no bids for 6 days but a few people found it in the end and it went for $278.51. Still an absolute pittance for such a beautiful bit of gear.

Can't count? Do you get to choose your five? Either way looks like someone has been doing the rounds of the council clean ups.ldrcycles wrote:Dodge-o-meter off the charts

you can fit at least 4 sets of brake levers on those pretzils. imagine trying to put new bar tape on, only to find your about 4cm short at the end(if you can find the end) and having to start again.ldrcycles wrote:My cup runneth over with weird stuff tonight!

put the bars and frame together and then you have a bike for some serious action. all the way to the tip.

There are a couple there which caught my eye, but most of them I'd only wreck for parts.bychosis wrote:Can't count? Do you get to choose your five? Either way looks like someone has been doing the rounds of the council clean ups.ldrcycles wrote:Dodge-o-meter off the charts

We do a lot of s-boxes like this up at our Men's Shed, and sell them cheaply to the needy. But only if they're fairly reasonable to start with.
By the time we/I am through with them, they're often better than when they were new. And they DO sell, as long as you don't expect a
stupid price.

I guess Mr Hinch is due for an upgrade?ldrcycles wrote:"Has high positioned handlebar so you don't have to crouch on it like a cockroach!!!!!"
Looks to be the same colour as my BSA Twenty. Mine had a bizarre half-banana seat and lower riser bars on it. It's currently hanging on a hook in the shed with no saddle, drop bars and hot pink BMX wheels (but the original bits are in a box somewhere...)BSA 20, i didn't know they were ever sold as BSAs.

If so he might be paying more than normal - in another thread he's been giving away the inside skizzy on what to look for with these bikes..

Cool Look Aeroblade 860. Never heard of them, but does look very very similar to my Kestrel 4000. It was Look's first monocoque frame as well.
http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/erskinev ... 1052955043" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And now for the weird one. A face as the head tube badge. It is very unique, and sort of creepy looking at the same time, but I wouldnt mind owning it for the sake of it. I think someone at the NAHBS had faces on their headtube as well.
http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/cremorne ... 1052976408" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
EDIT: Yes, Brian Baylis at the NAHBS did have an almost identical face. Were these avaiable as a framebuilding part to add onto headtubes? If it were, I sort of want to stick one onto my Bundy.

They're called Stickfaces by a now defunct company called Bikelangelo. I found some information here http://www.hocusmanila.com/main/categor ... es/page/2/QuangVuong wrote:Does this have black Dura Ace and MAvic hubs? Frame looks quality
