Will try to see you characters tomorrow morning BUT i doubt if i will be going very far up Nebo.
My bike is currently disabled by the fact that it is locked up at work and i have lost the key today.

Yes i have another bike but it is 25 years old and has a corncob freewheel that would be no match for Nebo/Glorious gradients. :(

No worries Jason, at about 5.45 i am beside the road at the last bus stop before Nebo starts and in the half darkness a lone cyclist approaches.
so i start yelling Jaasonnnn, Jaaassonnn, and so he pulls up and says "you must be a mate of Jason's"
Then i realize that he is not Jason.
Then i notice his physique - resembling that of Mark Cavendish - and think to myself "I am going to get dropped in the first 15 metres"
But anyway it was all good and i hung on all the way to the top.

Fone went flat at Mt G. but then i turned it on in the cafe, and it said something like "incomplete Strava activity, do you want to end and save"
Yes, pressed the upload button and of course the fone went flat again.
Back home, stick it on the charger and alas there is no record of my glorious (pun intended) Strava activity. :?

Bad luck on the cancellation guys, however if the ride is going to be reorganized after my efforts this morning (first 4 hour/100km ride since march) I'd definitely be down.
I reckon I could keep up and my lack of body weight should work when the roads goes up.

Definitely thinking about it, but a bit iffy about doing Nebo again.

I was vaguely thinking about a trip to Dalveen to race the train again.

Race the train - Dalveen to Stanthorpe 22km time trial and return

I'll be doing all the way to Mt Glorious then following down the front side, I'll either turn right at Samford or goat track I am yet to decide.
