sounds like your pump, or at least it's head, is causing the problems.
if it's a floor pump, you can get a replacement head... most are universal fit as you can use a hose clamp or similar to re-attach it after removing/cutting off the old one.
for what it's worth, the head on my Topeak Joe Blow is great... and i believe can be bought separately.

Thanks Shaun, thats a great idea. Was tossing between the Lezyne and the Topeak all night but just the hose and nozzel replacement on my pump sounds like the way to go. Shame I may have to pay $10-14 shipping!Mulger bill wrote:Buy a replacement Lezyne hose and graft it to your pump. It screws on and off. Problem solved. Ask me how I know...

Sorry for the dumb question, where do you get the Lezyne spare parts? I don't get to the city much these days.Mulger bill wrote:Buy a replacement Lezyne hose and graft it to your pump. It screws on and off. Problem solved. Ask me how I know...

you can buy the seals again and they are pretty cheap. http://www.this link is broken/topeak-joe-blow ... build-kit/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;old al wrote:I bought a Joe Blow. Worked like a charm until the seal in the head wore and would not hold on to smooth (no thread) tubes. So went to Aldi and bought a cheapo pump from them. Worked like a charm but would not pump my tubulars past 120psi. So took the head off the Aldi pump, put it on the Joe Blow and now can pump my tubulars up to 140psi easy. Put the worn Joe Blow head on the Aldi pump and use it when I only want about 90psi in the tyre. Such is life!

although even when new, i do have issues getting a complete seal. Probably has something to do with trying to press and move that lever.

Ive tried this but dont get a pressure reading through the adaptor. Is it me or is that how it is?OnTrackZeD wrote:I'm surprised no one has suggested a presta to schrader adapter. By using the adaptor the value won't bend or snap because its protected.
