I won!

Postby glawrence2000 » Tue Sep 16, 2008 4:13 pm

Hi lads,

Has this ever happened to you guys? Was your smile so big that it actually hurt?

I bought a popular Australian Mountain Biking Magazine (AMB Magazine - why not give these generous guys a plug) last month and when I was paying the person at the newsagent, she asked if I would like to enter a competition for a new bike?

"Why not?"

I heard myself saying as I filled in the 25 words or less entry form.
After depositing my entry in the post, I all but forgot about it until a chap from the magazine rang me yesterday as I was scouting for a parking spot in Paddo in search of lunch to say I'd won.
Now I don't know if you know Paddington, but the streets are small and crowded and I nearly drove into a bunch of parked cars in shock.

Looks like I got myself a new BMC Fourstroke 03 badboy.

Can't wait to ride it!!. Thank you AMB Magazine.

Thanks heaps.

I don't believe it yet. It hasn't happened without photos to prove it. :)

Cheers,

nice one.

i rode at the BMC 8 hr at stromlo this year in a team of three.
one of our the guys i was with "booked" in a ride on a BMC
Trailfox - not quite the Fourstroke, more all mountain - but even still
an awesome bike. it was his third and final lap of the day, the bike had
only been set up for back shock sag, he had never ridden a dualie
before but on his one and only lap he took a whopping 6 minutes of
best lap time.

he was over the moon with the BMC so i am pretty sure you will
be as well.
i like to pedal
