About a 30 inch wheel. Butthe backpack? Woosy. I have loaded my 70L on more than one occasion.

Seriously though, trekking on a unicycle is a tough way to do it. Extra weight makes simple turns really awkward even before variable ground underneath.

And larger wheels, while having the advantage of reduced cadence, are hard work and hard to ride in anything but straight lines and bland curves. Though he will have aero bars to hang a few things off and to make it somewhat steerable.

Good luck to the guy. My aged knees are beyond doing anything like that, though I'd like to have ago sometime.

Not really - this pic is very old. Besides I wouldn't want to be noticed any more than I already am.

However, if I ever do, I have a skeleton morph suit that my kids bought me for a birthday. Add a top hat and it's pretty impressive on a giraffe unicycle.
