Well, I finally bit the bullet and climbed Mt Glorious from the Samford side today.
Because I am a sucker for punishment at the moment, I actually did it from the Gap Side up Mt Nebo Rd to where Mt Glorious Rd comes in from the right, did the drop down towards Samford, then turned around and rode back up to the top and down Mt Nebo Rd again.
Discovered 3 things in the process
1. Holy Cr...p it hurt on the way back up Mt G rd
2. The cafe at Mt Nebo was closed (had to get water from the school instead)
3 Mt G rd is signposted as being 15%, but so is the D'Aguilar side of Mt Mee, and having ridden both I have NO DOUBT that Mt Glorious Rd is steeper.
I know I was paying the consequence of having already done Mt Nebo Rd, but I am confident that it wasn't just a subjective thing.
So the big question is: is Mt Glorious Rd more than 15% or is the D'Aguilar side of Mt Mee less than 15%?? Does anyone know??
This is the route I did:

Great way to get climbing training, over 2100m climbing in only a 67k ride...needless to say the average was not high (and not helped by a slow puncture that I had to keep pumping up on the final 15 k)
Which is steeper Mt G from Samford or Mt M from D'Aguilar?

Good lord, even with my thirst for pain i havent tried that side of Glorious... well done on making it to the top! How long do you think it took you from the bottom? I assume you were in the smallest possible gear!!
