Item Condition: Near perfect. Frame was protected from cable rub since new so that's non existant. It's never been crashed, never been raced. Simply a social ride luxury, it's so comfortable. There is some wear evident on the shifter hoods, a few scrapes on the STI levers from leaning on things and a scratch on the inside of the left fork leg (non structural) from some road debris that flicked up from a wheel in front. Done 1051km in current configuration as per speedo, Groupset has done about 2500km. Mechanically A1, spotlessly clean.
Reason for selling: Need to pay off the kiteboard setup
Price and price conditions: $2000ono + post
Extra Info: Size wise, Lemond list it as the 57cm - I'm 182cm and estimate I'm in the smaller third of it's fitting range, so say 177cm to 192cm. Of course, that's a guide and it's better to try something with similar dimensions - or you're welcome to come and check it out in the flesh to make sure. For full geometry data PM/email me and I'll send you the details.
Frame/fork were bought at the start of 2006, RRP $3300 alone, complete bike approx $6000-$7000 new. At the time of building other new parts were the headset, chain, cassette, bartape, tyres and so all those parts have only done 1051km. Everything else has about 2500km on it as it was stripped off the old bike.

Where were you 2 months ago ? Oh well, I'll make do with what I have, but will happily pass on the details. Love the colour as well.
For more info on the "Spine Design" concept of Steel/Ti/Carbon mix, see the Lemond 2006 bike link LeMond 2006 Bikes
The 2006 site shows that the Maillot Jaune is no longer available, and to view the Zurich instead which has Ultegra running gear.
Looks like a bargain to me, now where is that spare $2k ........ ??
