Elevenses
Postby europa » Thu Apr 12, 2007 11:41 am
It's eleven o'clock here. Rather than working, I'm playing bike forums. Should I address this? Ahh, the tyranny of working at home For a soft boss (me). I'm also feeling a tad peckish, grumbly tumbly syndrome and all that. Should I fire up the kettle and toast myself a couple of hot cross buns to go with the coffee, despite the dire effects that will have on my (lack of) weight loss?
Decisions, decisions.

elevenses are a regular happening in our house, then again, so are twelveses, twoses, threeses, fourses, etc... oh, and the halfhour biccies/snacks/cuppas ...
though i suppose living in a share house of five male uni students, so might not be quite an accurate sample of the wider population.
PS. I can empathise about work. It's uni break, I'm meant to be cleaning my room. Have meant to for the past 3 days.

That's strange. It's now knocking on for 10 here and I have the same problemeuropa wrote:It's eleven o'clock here. Rather than working, I'm playing bike forums. Should I address this?
I would only address this if your post count gets close to 1,000,000. Most people who work for other people, also go web surfing when they are supposed to be working
Come on people, admit it. Who surfs the net from work?

Negative thinking. You should be saying "submit something that is accepted".europa wrote:for me it's hard to submit something for rejection if I haven't written the damned thing in the first place.
Then you can become rich, and pay for us all to attend the forum's get together and go riding and meet each other.

I use the net at work when it's quiet or in between moves, pity the Co's filters won't let me see a lot of images or open links.
Richard, have you considered collating and binding your posts into a single volume? There might just be a market.
