Website about our cycle trips

Postby Scotness » Sun Jan 01, 2017 4:48 pm

Hi guys my wife and I have started a little website about our cycle trips - it's a still a work in progress - there's day trips to Coochiemudlo Island and Jacobs Well there at the moment - but a whole lot to come - including Western Victoria, Toowoomba-Gladstone - and some of Europe (England-Scotland-Ireland-France-Germany).

Enjoy the site - it's mainly photos and text, but some video where I had some too

Nice little web site Scot not sure if it's my browser or the web site but I can't open up your different trips you have listed and even the "NEXT" button at the bottom of page was a bugger to work for me.

Hi Ricky - sorry to hear that - in the big list of trips only of a few of them are active links - the Coochiemudlo and Jacobs Well ones - and the Links link --- what kind of browser are you using? I've tested it on Firefox and MS Edge and it worked for me -- sorry about that :-( it would be good to work out exactly what the cause is though

Nice, always interested to read about and 'see' trips that others do! Don't be stingy with the photos!

Hi Scot using Explorer but your reason makes it all ok I was trying to click your non active links. I really enjoy looking at others that take the time to document there trips that's something I have never done thanks for sharing Scot good to see you family involvement.

Hi all - here's another page I've just put together. It's a trip around Western Victoria in 1987 - can't believe that's 30 years ago now!! Anyway it was a great trip with some good pics :-)

Enjoy :-)

You can now download the KML files for the routes too if you'd like to try them. I'll add the KML for each route as I write the page up for that route - so at the moment there's Jacobs Well, Coochie and Western Victoria

Couldn't agree more with the only difference between me and you is your whole family is involved and I like that but for me I'm solo I don't have kids and I enjoy my own company.

No Scot I'm lazy I don't document my trips even photos for me are few and far between because I tour alone the memories are enough for me. What's funny is I enjoy reading everyone's else trips that they have documented and enjoy. I spend too much time sight seeing and the likes then I'm out of time I just want to relax at the end of the day.

Hi guys, the site had been down for a while - but I've just got it back up now, under its own domain name

http://www.ourcycleadventures.com/

I've started one on our European cycle in 1999 - there's a lot to write here though, and have only got the first page done so far

All the best
