I need a new threaded headset for my "aero" frame. Anyone got a NOS 600AX headset lying around going cheap ?
No ... how about a reliable source for something more mundane. Ribble has a good price on the Stronglight A9 (currently $35 ea), but I have had terrible experience with shipping, 2 out of 2 parcels went astray & so I'm leery of a third.
Any other suggestions ? Only requirements are silver, alloy & ISO (I think)

Still hasn't arrived? I'll dig through my box of headsets and see what I have spare.

NB that new Stronglight A9 has cartridge bearings not the original needle bearings...find_bruce wrote:Ribble has a good price on the Stronglight A9 (currently $35 ea), but I have had terrible experience with shipping, 2 out of 2 parcels went astray & so I'm leery of a third.

Thanks. Looks like I'm sorted thanks to the generosity of a forumite.
