Cadel at the Giro

Postby RICHARDH » Thu Dec 11, 2008 2:48 pm

Will be intresting to see if SBS grap the coverage?

Is Cadel changing his focus this year seeing as he has less support than he did last year ( and lets face it that was bugger all) or just following the leader ( i could be cheaky and say something like hes got plenty of practise doing that but i wont wait i just did  )

The Giro is going to be a wonderful appetizer.

Be a total bummer for Cadel to come second in the Tour this year, change focus, and then come second to an Astana team determined to get Lance onto the top step of the podium... he would be having CSC flashbacks.

Maybee he thinks he has more chance of beating Lance than Alberto!...and with a supposed 60km+ TT he will have to be on form...

Cheers.

April 12, Paris-Roubaix (hopefully live coverage again) is one event I can't wait for.

Team Silence-Lotto is holding a training camp in Spain this week, but Evans is remaining in his home country for the off-season.
Team! Now there's an idea SIL might like to think about. Can't blame Cadel for not bothering.

Well Cadel does go pretty deep into the season and tends to start late, hence why we dont see Cadel at the TDU. I think Cadel is probably looking back a couple of months and thinking he should have changed teams, without Kohl his basically worseoff than last year and in contract for two more years (i think)

Yeah, busting for this again. T'was almost the highlight of the cycling year I reckon, although Paris-Nice was good too.

Anyone else see last night on sports tonight that he was po'd that his team entered him into the giro without telling him.

Apparently he wanted to focus on winning the tour. Might be riding by himself again this year.
